IKEA Greenwich are looking to welcome you to our Customer Service Team as Checkouts and cash office Team Leader. Are you familiar with the operation of the cash line and cash office, looking for your next challenge, then this is the role for you!

Expected start date: November 2022

39 hours, 5 days over 7, alternate weekends.

We are looking for an experienced leader who is used to working in a fast-paced environment. You are resilient and adaptable in an ever-changing retail situation with a proven ability to work as part of a larger team. You are able to prioritise and organise work and the work of others in order to make the most efficient use of the time available. An understanding of the operational aspects of the cash office and a familiarity of process and ASR would be beneficial, full system training will be provided.
Entry level computer literacy is required for this role, and we are looking for candidates who are willing to embrace technological changes and work to improve our processes for our customers.

Your priority is to give our customers a positive payment experience by ensuring the check-out area is in shape as new, our check-outs are efficiently equipped at all times throughout the day and co-workers are ready and available to help customers.

You will coach our check-out co-workers making sure they have the knowledge, confidence, responsibility, authority and desire to support customer payment and that they achieve this in an efficient and simple way.

You are always available to support the check-out co-workers when they cannot resolve a customer’s need, dealing positively and quickly with issues raised by our customers. Thus, ensuring customers leave with a positive impression of the IKEA store and want to come back and shop more frequently with us.
