You have broad knowledge about the current market, expectations from the customers today and tomorrow, which allows you to secure the commercial offer and IKEA e-commerce experience meet customer needs. Furthermore, you look at e-commerce in a holistic way, and you have immersed yourself in change management methods and tools, as well as stakeholder management.
Additionally, we expect that you:
- Come from a retail background – preferably with a focus on life at home
- Have formal qualifications in sales, marketing, business management or similar
- Have experience in leading teams within different disciplines within e-commerce online
- Have experience in working with omnichannel customer experience
- Know how to manage change in a complex business environment
- Know how to convert strategy into action – preferably from global strategy to local action

A DAY IN YOUR LIFE WITH US

Your top-priority is to take us where we need to be when it comes to e-commerce. This means ensuring an excellent customer meeting and understanding how consumer behaviour is changing. You will be responsible for coordinating the commercial and e-commerce objectives through optimisation and adaptation to the customer needs on the IKEA website. While you will not have direct leadership over the teams working with our omnichannel agenda, you will be leading the transformation that will ensure that IKEA becomes a high-performing omnichannel retailer though stakeholder management, and leading the cross-functional agenda with a clear strategy from the global organization.
Your responsibilities will grow and vary as you grow in the role, but you should expect to:
- Act as a member of the Commercial Management Team and proactively contribute to IKEA business plan, commercial plan and commercial calendar process
- Constantly develop the e-commerce agenda and ensure that you’re always up to speed with relevant market trends
- Ensure the integration of the local e-commerce plan across other commercial functions
- Translate the global e-commerce agenda to local action
- Take lead in driving an open and sharing climate, being a role model of the IKEA values where our coworkers are informed, engaged and empowered.

'- The position is on average 37 hours per week on a flexible contract
- The role will be seated in Service Office, but you can work from home and Service office “in balance".
